If ever there was a year for giving gifts that speak to and from the heart, this is it. We all could use a gift that helps us to feel seen, understood, and less alone.
One of my wonderfully nerdy friends pointed out to me that right now, Louie and I are the same age.
If you’ve read Dipped In It, you know I mention “the camp” quite a bit. This is the place I feel most connected to my dad. He loved it here so much.
Today I turn 49…or as my father would have said, I’ve started my 50th year. (This was cute when I was 12 and “in my 13th year!”)
This kid looks at the world through heart shaped glasses. 😍
When we grieve someone we love, we don’t just grieve the loss of that person. We grieve the loss of the person we were TO THEM.
