A joy attainable only by the truly lazy—having the opportunity to shovel one’s leaves and one’s snow simultaneously.
It was 2015—-
This is the best deathaversary message, from my poetic and hilarious cousin, Mike. Treasure the people who can make you laugh on your worst days.
Tomorrow it will have been five years since we lost dad. It seems impossible that this much time has passed.
Do epic shit.
When I emerged from my warm bed this morning, I immediately went into my closet and searched for this sweatshirt. It belonged to my dad. I hadn’t worn it in a while. It seemed important…to carry him with me down the stairs and into a new year.
